Been there. Rest assured that in those cases, it’s more about the journey than the destination.
100% this. Have presented several code snippets and challenges in technical interviews and would much prefer someone “think out loud” but come to the wrong conclusion rather than sitting in silence and blurting out a correct/expected one.
