No spoilers for Season 2 other than the magic is back and go watch it.
It’s so good it makes other Star Wars almost unwatchable by comparison.
I’m also really inspired to go fight some fascism and blast some space Nazis.
"We’ve been sleeping.
We’ve had each other, and Ferrix, our work, our days. We had each other, and they left us alone. We kept the trade lanes open, and they left us alone. We took their money and ignored them, we kept their engines churning, and the moment they pulled away, we forgot them. Because we had each other. We had Ferrix.
But we were sleeping. I’ve been sleeping. And I’ve been turning away from the truth I wanted not to face.
There is a wound that won’t heal at the center of the galaxy. There is a darkness reaching like rust into everything around us. We let it grow, and now it’s here. It’s here, and it’s not visiting anymore. It wants to stay.
The Empire is a disease that thrives in darkness, it is never more alive than when we sleep. It’s easy for the dead to tell you to fight, and maybe it’s true, maybe fighting is useless. Perhaps it’s too late. But I’ll tell you this… If I could do it again, I’d wake up early and be fighting these bastards from the start.
Fuck the Empire!"
Is it just me or does this thread title not make sense?
It’s the beginning of a sentence. We’re supposed to end it.
I guess it’s edgy. It’s what young people do these days. Non-commitment as a lifestyle.
Greetings, a grumpy old person.
It’s so you click the post to read the second part written in the post itself. In this case that Andor makes other Star Wars shows unwatchable.
In other words, clickbait?

Is there an Andor community on lemmy? It’s the one thing I’m really missing from reddit.
It’s a treatise on radicalization. And it’s very good.
The way Luthen organizes his cells is a great class on how to organize a resistance.
I saw ICE trucks rolling down the street in my town for the first time today.
I’m hoping season 2 picks up more, as besides some sweet moments, I feel like the first 3 episodes had a lot of filler material compared to the first season, which was a masterpiece.
I’m watching on Disney Plus and it’s always a big of a shock coming back to mainstream TV advertising, but for Andor it feels like it’s an unintended continuation of the whole message and blurring into reality. “The fascists are oppressing everything and don’t care about the inherent value of people, now here’s 10 full minutes of for-profit medicine ads.”
